If you'd like a longer massage than what we have listed on our website, just let us know and we can book a custom massage duration for you. Massage rates are $1.16/minute for swedish Massage and $1.25/minute for all over massage modalities.
Swedish
Swedish is the most commonly offered massage technique. This modality uses long strokes and kneading of the muscles. It is used primarily for full body sessions to promote circulation, relaxation and relieves muscle tension.
Sports
Sports massage focuses on the muscles relevant to a particular athletic activity. It is usually more vigorous and deeper than Swedish massage. On athletes (dancers) minor injuries and lesions occur due to overexertion and/or repetitive movement. This technique can break down these minor injuries quickly and effectively. Sports Massage will help prepare the athlete for peak performance, drain away fatigue, relieve swelling, reduce muscle tension, promote flexibility, and stimulate the lymphatic system.
Deep Tissue
Deep Tissue Massage improves body alignment and freedom of movement. Deep Tissue releases chronic patterns of tension in the body through long and short, slow strokes. Deeper pressure is applied on the specific tensed area by using the forearms, heel of hands, elbows, or specific instruments. The amount and type of pressure depends on the specific needs of the individual.
