Facial peels work well on dry skin types and help eliminate sun damage, fine wrinkles, pimples and splotches.
Glycolic and Lactic Acid peels are derived from fruit acids. Glycolic acid peels(from sugar cane) are mildly exfoliating and remove the superficial top layer of skin. This peel may also stimulate collagen growth. Collagen is the main structural protein found in the skin, and its supply dwindles as we age.
Lactic acid peels (although derived from milk, this is still considered a fruit acid) help remove dead skin cells and promote softer and more radiant skin.
