About Us
Chameleon Salon has been under new ownership since June
2008. As the new owner, I want to thank all of our loyal guests that continue to support us
and other small businesses like ours!
We refer to ourselves as a salon
family at Chameleon, we are a like-minded team of individuals who share
the same philosophy:

stylists who are passionate about their work and developing their craft to bring
our clients the best service possible while still offering convenience and
affordability to their clients. When brains meet beauty, our clients
benefit from it. We have very talented individuals at Chameleon Salon who clearly have a passion
for their work. This passion is reflected in their satisfied and returning
clientele, their friendly attitudes and their ambition to do their best each and
every time. We try our best to offer convenient business hours and flexible
schedules. We also love the convenient location of our salon! We love that
Portland, and North Portland especially, is so diverse. So, keeping with that
theme we promote a fun, creative and laid back environment in our salon. You will
always enjoy the benefit of convenient and free parking in our parking lot
behind our salon, or free on street parking on the surrounding side streets. No more
circling for a parking space, paying for said parking space, and then being
over-charged once you're actually inside! We believe in offering high end
service at an affordable price.
This is NO "chop shop" my friends! You should not only be
happy with the outcome of your service, but also how you were treated, and what
you paid for it. You don't have to spend a fortune....to look like you could
spend a fortune! We enjoy all aspects of our work, and work hard to ensure every

Paul Mitchell's certified educators. In these classes we focus on the
chemistry of the hair color and the latest techniques, bringing you the best
trained colorists to achieve your new hue. In addition to color
classes with certified Paul Mitchell educators we also continue to evolve
through the fabulous classes offered by Sidlab haircouture offering
innovative techniques for balayage hair coloring, haircutting and styling.
Our stylist's dedication to continue evolving and learning enables us to
bring you the best trained stylists to help you achieve a new style and
maintain the integrity of your hair.
Hair Care Products:
We are proud to carry Sidlab Haircouture. Sidlab is a local
Portland based product company designed to serve the needs of
hairstylists and clients, not the bottom line of a corporation!
Their products are amazingly effective and their entire product line is
Paraben and Sodium Laureth Sulfate free to promote health and preserve
color! Sidlab donates to breast cancer research with the purchase
